UML draws attention towards vandalization of its leader’s house

Kathmandu, Nov 20: The CPN (UML) has drawn the attention of the government towards the incident in which the cadres of the United Democratic Madheshi Front vandalized the residence of UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal in his hometown at Gaur Municipality-3 in Rautahat.
The cadres of agitating Madhesh-centric political parties caused damages to former Prime Minister Nepal’s house today noon.
In a press statement issued by CPN (UML) Central Secretariat’s Secretary Pradip Kumar Gyawali today, it is noted that the UML would like to warn the concerned side to control such kind of activities and tendencies.
“One should not lose restraint and conscience in any agitation. No solution is sought by vandalizing the house of senior leaders at political leadership. Such incident further aggravates the situation,” the press statement reads.
The ruling party has also appealed to the disgruntled Madhesh-centric parties to curb such irresponsible activities. The agitating parties are also urged to seek the outlet through talks and dialogue. RSS
